What Weather is Expected in Armenia

From August 20 to 24, dry weather is expected across the Republic. The wind will be coming from the east at 2-5 m/s. In the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in Armavir, the wind is expected to strengthen in the evening hours to 14-17 m/s.

The air temperature is forecasted to gradually decrease by 2-3 degrees from August 20 to 22.

In Yerevan, dry weather is also expected from August 20 to 24. Wind strengthening to 13-15 m/s is anticipated in the evening hours.

Due to the high thermal background and the absence of precipitation, a high level of fire hazard is expected in the foothill and valley areas of the Republic.
