Today, near the "Surmalu" shopping center, during a conversation with journalists, the First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Artyush, mentioned that the building will be dismantled after the search and rescue operations are completed.

“We had the floor plan and the project from the beginning, but during the search operations, we discovered areas, especially in the basement, that were not visible in our initial designs. Therefore, we requested an additional project to identify it with what we have,” said Grigoryan.

When asked whether the project changed over time, the deputy minister responded, “A collapse has occurred; the entire structure has been disrupted. It is difficult to say whether there was any area that was not in the original design, or if it appears so due to structural changes resulting from the collapse.”
