Armenia Airlines Addresses Flight Delay Issues

Georgy Khachatryan, the Deputy Director of Armenia Airlines, has provided clarifications regarding a series of flight delays. He mentioned on his page that the complex geopolitical situation has caused a shortage of aircraft for many airlines, attributed to European sanctions.

“Dear partners and passengers, on behalf of Armenia Airlines and our entire team, we apologize for the inconveniences caused. From 21:00 yesterday until now, we have been working continuously to resolve the issues related to the flights. It has turned out that the complex geopolitical situation has led to a shortage of aircraft for many airlines due to European sanctions. Many lessors have recalled their aircraft. Armenia Airlines has never defaulted on its commitments in its 6-year history. Today's delays are no exception,” said Georgy Khachatryan.

The NGT 930 flight scheduled for 10:20 has already departed, while the NGT 1727/1728 flight to Hurghada will take off at 01:00 Yerevan time. All available compensations will be provided to passengers, and accommodations will be arranged.
