Urgent: Defense Army Reports New Casualties and Injuries

As previously reported, starting from August 3 at 09:00, Azerbaijani units have grossly violated the ceasefire conditions, targeting the positions of the Defense Army and a permanent deployment site of one of the military units. In addition to various calibers of firearms, they have also used mortars, grenade launchers, and strike drones, resulting in fatal injuries to Defense Army contract servicemen Gurgen Galerii Gabrielyan and Arthur Yuri Khachatryan. This information was released by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.

The Defense Army expresses its support to the families, relatives, and colleagues of the fallen servicemen. Another 14 servicemen have received injuries of varying degrees.

Joint efforts are being made with the command of the Russian military contingent carrying out peacekeeping missions in Artsakh to stabilize the situation. As of 18:00, the operational tactical situation is relatively stable. The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh will issue statements regarding further developments.
