Parents of Fallen Soldiers Protest Outside Defense Ministry: 'Children Were Taken and Placed Under Drones'
A number of parents and relatives of soldiers who died in the 44-day war are currently staging a protest outside the Defense Ministry building. They claim that despite the passage of time, they have still not received answers regarding how their sons died while the commanders survived.
“The children were taken and placed in an open field under drones, which shot them down. We demand that the commander be brought for questioning. Which commander? Kyarumyan Pavlik. We want to know clearly from him the circumstances of our children's deaths. We want justice; we want to finally understand how this happened. We want to understand who gave the order to take the children from Martakert to Martuni 2 and to place them under the open sky. If Pavlik is a hero, then what about our boys?” say the parents.
