Zelensky's Admission on the Situation in Donbass

“The situation in several parts of the front line remains extremely difficult for the Ukrainian army,” acknowledged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily address broadcasted last night.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the critical circumstances near several settlements in the Donetsk region are due to the observable shortage of weapons on the defending side.

“Yes, we still cannot overcome the advantage that the Russian side has, especially in terms of artillery and manpower. This is particularly evident during the ongoing battles in Donbass, near the settlements of Peski and Avdiivka. The situation there is truly hellish; it is simply impossible to describe it in words,” declared Zelensky.
