Zelensky Calls on People to Leave Donetsk Region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged people to leave the Donetsk region in his latest video address, adding that the government will organize everything necessary for their departure.

“There are hundreds of thousands of people there, tens of thousands of children. Many refuse to leave, but this must indeed be done; this decision must be made. Trust me,” the Ukrainian president stated.

He also called on Ukrainians to communicate with those in the combat zone of Donbas and persuade them to evacuate.
