Pentagon Denies Shoigu's Claims

The Pentagon has refuted Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu's statements regarding the destruction of American-made HIMARS multiple rocket systems in Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters on August 3, citing Pentagon spokesperson Todd Breasseale.

“We are aware of Minister Shoigu's latest statements, and they are just another lie,” the official emphasized. According to Breasseale, “The Ukrainians are utilizing every precision-guided missile system provided by the U.S. and allies with remarkable accuracy and effectiveness.”

According to Reuters, Russia frequently claims that it has shot down HIMARS, but has never provided any evidence for these assertions.
