Azerbaijani Authorities Continue Policy of Expelling Armenians from Artsakh: Beglaryan

The attitude of the Azerbaijani military-political leadership towards Armenians has for decades been manifested in hatred, physical and psychological violence, and a criminal behavior aimed at deliberately depriving them of their lives. There is no basis to even suggest that Azerbaijan will change this strategy in the visible future.

Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan stated this on his Telegram channel, commenting on the recent shelling of the villages of Taghavard and Karmir Shuka.

He declared that as long as the Azerbaijani authorities and the people are not ready for a genuine dialogue and peace that is honorable for all parties, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot be resolved.

He also noted that no matter how much the Azerbaijani authorities pretend to seek peace and civility, they are openly continuing their anti-Armenian and aggressive policy aimed at expelling Armenians from Artsakh and degrading Armenian statehood and its people.

“The recognition and protection of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination is non-negotiable, as we are the masters of our destiny in our homeland, and this is the only way to prevent a new genocide in the world,” stated the State Minister of Artsakh.
