Another Soldier Injured in Fire Sparked by Heater
On July 17, conscript soldier Pavlian Jivani Poghosyan, who sustained second-degree burns, remains in extremely critical condition. This was reported to "168" by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan.
He stated that the fire ignited from sparks generated by a heater installed in a wagon-room, which is what caused the soldier to sustain burns. In response to the observation that the soldier was reportedly in a sleeping bag and that another soldier also sustained burns, the Ministry of Defense spokesperson responded:
“The other serviceman has sustained very minor injuries and is currently in the recovery phase; there is nothing serious, which is why it has not been reported. Meanwhile, the condition of the other soldier has deteriorated significantly, and we have issued a notification regarding this. A service investigation is currently underway regarding the sleeping bag.”
