Will Putin and Biden Speak? Peskov Responds

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Joe Biden are not scheduled to hold negotiations, reported Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“For now, there are no plans regarding Putin and Biden. As for a possible conversation between Lavrov and Blinken, please contact my colleague Masha Zakharova,” Peskov said in response to questions about the Kremlin's expectations regarding the conversation with the Russian Foreign Minister.

Journalists inquired whether Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken would arrange a meeting or phone call between Putin and Biden following their negotiations.
