The U.S. is Committed to Assisting Armenia and Azerbaijan: State Department Spokesperson

The United States is committed to helping Armenia and Azerbaijan negotiate a long-term political settlement to their conflict. This was stated by U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price in an interview with Voice of America, addressing the role of the OSCE Minsk Group and the American stance on this format.

"The U.S. is prepared to work bilaterally with like-minded partners such as the EU, and through our role as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, to facilitate direct dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia," he said.
