Photos: Karo Paylan raises alarm about assault on Armenian youth in Turkey

A group of individuals attacked an Armenian youth named Arlen in Üsküdar, Turkey. Karo Paylan, an Armenian member of Turkey's National Assembly (Milli Meclis), wrote about the incident on his Twitter page, describing the assault as "racist."

"The fact that the attackers beat 45 kg Arlen with the intent to kill, and that the perpetrators have not faced criminal accountability, makes me suspect that this incident is a hate crime. Was Arlen beaten for being Armenian?" Paylan wrote.
