VIDEO: Special Forces Currently at 'Security Dream'

Currently, employees of the 6th department of the police are at 'Security Dream' and are carrying out some actions. A NEWS.am reporter informs that masked personnel are not allowing journalists to approach the company's office.

Earlier, it was reported that at the government meeting on July 14, it was decided to create a state non-commercial organization called the 'Center for Management of Police Surveillance Systems'. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that with this decision, the era of 'Security Dream' is coming to a successful end.

Recall that 'Security Dream' documented traffic violations through speed cameras and surveillance cameras installed on the streets. According to Nikol Pashinyan, this functionality will now be carried out through the newly established organization, and fines collected for identified administrative violations will be deposited into the state budget.

It should be noted that after the change of power, 'Security Dream' frequently came under the attention of law enforcement agencies, and the company's founding director, Aleksan Zakaryan, was detained. He is accused of embezzling over one billion drams through forgery.

In an interview with the media, Aleksan Zakaryan mentioned that this decision was not a surprise for them, as they were aware of the draft decision circulating. However, the company was informed the day before that they had also won the tender for this year's competition. The contract was initially supposed to be for a duration of 10 years, but the company has not yet signed the contract after winning the tender.
