In Pakistan, the death toll from monsoon downpours and the resulting floods has increased by at least 18 over the past day. Since mid-June, the number of victims from the natural disaster has reached 312. According to Armenpress, this was reported by the Express Tribune, citing the National Disaster Management Authority.

In Karachi, residents have staged protests against the prolonged power outages, lack of drinking water, and the absence of government assistance for those affected by the severe weather.
Several areas in Islamabad and the satellite city of Rawalpindi were inundated, including the territory of the international airport, resulting in the suspension of flight operations.
Flooding has blocked traffic in several sections of the highway connecting Islamabad with the rest of the country. In Balochistan, floods have swept away bridges on the Quetta-Karachi road, leading to a 10-hour traffic halt.
The authorities have evacuated residents from dozens of villages flooded by the swelling Hab River. The Pakistani authorities have mobilized the armed forces to provide urgent assistance to the affected population, as reported by TASS.
