It was reported earlier that on July 17, Private Jivani Poghosyan, a conscript soldier from the N military unit, was admitted to the Zangezur garrison hospital with second-degree thermal burns.

To clarify the details of the incident, Auroranews.am contacted Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan. In the conversation, he stated that the incident occurred as a result of a fire caused by the spark from a stove set up in the position's wagon shelter.

When asked why the report was disseminated today if the incident occurred on July 17, the spokesperson noted that the soldier's health condition had worsened in recent days.
