Video: Ukrainian Intelligence Attempted to Hijack Russian Military Fighter Jets

Ukrainian military intelligence sought to hijack Russian Su-24, Su-34, or Tu-22 military fighter jets. A video has been released by the Russian Federal Security Service.

According to the agency, Ukrainian military intelligence anticipated that Russian military aircraft would be hijacked during flight. Russian pilots were promised that their wives would be sent to the Baltic states, Germany, Bulgaria, or other EU countries in exchange for their assistance in the aircraft hijacking. Pilots were also promised a monetary reward of up to 2 million dollars for successfully carrying out the 'mission.'
