Video: Genocide Museum and Police Respond to Scandalous Video of Turkish Youth
The pathway leading to the eternal flame at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial has no cameras, according to Serine Muradyan, a representative of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute's external relations department. This statement comes in response to a scandalous video circulating on social media.
Earlier, a video surfaced on social media featuring an unidentified man displaying the symbol of the "Gray Wolves" in front of the memorial, claiming he had come to the "largest theater in Armenia."
"The area of the memorial is monitored, and there are police officers present. However, there are no cameras on the specific path leading to the memorial where the video was filmed," Muradyan explained.
According to her, cameras are installed near the "Temple of Eternity" and in the parking lot area. Police are on duty in the memorial area and patrol within the vicinity.
The police informed Sputnik Armenia that they are monitoring the area but requested a written inquiry for further details.
In additional footage, the individual is seen walking around Yerevan wearing a pin of the Turkish flag, taking pictures in front of Khor Virap, and visiting Gyumri.
