It Is Impossible to Please Everyone: Medvedev

It is impossible to please everyone, and attempts to do so end in failure, with states losing their sovereignty. This statement was made by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

“We must perceive the world as it is. Our country cannot satisfy all states, and attempts to curry favor with the vast majority of countries typically result in failure for those states. Such countries lose their sovereignty completely, or at least partially,” he said during a meeting with veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
