Changes Made to Marriage Registration Procedures
The Civil Status Acts Registration Agency (CSARA) will collaborate with other organizations on a contractual basis to conduct ceremonial registration of marriages at locations other than its own offices. In this case, citizens will be required to pay 40,000 drams.
This proposal was approved at today's Executive meeting. According to the justification, there is a significant demand for registering marriages in ceremonial and unique settings rather than at CSARA offices (also known as ZAGS).
It should be noted that under the current regulations, the state fee for conducting a marriage ceremony within the CSARA premises is 20,000 drams, while the fee for venues outside of it is 40,000 drams.
