2000-Year-Old Cemetery with Giant Tombs Discovered in Iran

According to "Planet Today," an ancient cemetery has been discovered in Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan province in Iran, featuring ancient tombs.

Iranian archaeologist Hossein Feyzi stated that remains of ancient people have been uncovered at the cemetery, along with some beige-colored tombs covered in natural resin.

Preliminary studies have shown that the cemetery dates back to the Parthian Empire era (247 BC – 224 AD).
