Large Fire in Aragatsotn: Vehicles Reduced to Ashes

This afternoon, on July 15, a large fire broke out in the Aragatsotn region. Around 17:45, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call at the 9-11 crisis management center reporting that a fire had erupted at the "car wreck parking lot owned by Hamo," located next to the Ashtarak Police Department in the city of Ashtarak.

As reported by shamshyan.com, before the arrival of two fire-fighting teams from the Ashtarak rescue service, employees from a nearby auto repair shop attempted to combat the fire. The firefighters who arrived subsequently prevented the fire from spreading further and extinguished it.

According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no injuries; however, all seven parked and damaged vehicles have been reduced to ashes. Additionally, one of the vehicles' gas tanks exploded due to the fire.
