Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: Stabbed Youths Hospitalized
Today, on July 13, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 01:00, the "Mikaelyan" medical center received a report from the Kanaker-Zeytun police department that a citizen had been admitted with a diagnosis of "agonal state, stab wound to the left side of the chest."
According to shamshyan.com, police determined that the injured individual is 22-year-old Khoren Tovmasyan, a resident of Shirak Province. While police were clarifying the circumstances of the incident, another citizen was admitted with a diagnosis of "polytrauma." It was established that this individual is 22-year-old Aleksandr Zurnachyan, also from Shirak Province.
While doctors were fighting for their lives, the Kanaker-Zeytun police found that these individuals were transferred to the hospital from the vicinity of 125/1 Kanaker Street, where at around 00:30 a dispute had occurred between them and other individuals over domestic issues, during which they sustained the stated injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the Yerevan Investigation Committee in Kanaker-Zeytun regarding the incident. The police and investigative department are conducting the necessary operational-search and investigative joint actions to clarify the circumstances of the case, ascertain the identities of those involved in the dispute, and locate them.
