Murder Attempt on Kanaker Street, 19-20 Year Olds Injured

The Investigative Committee of Armenia is conducting an investigation into an attempted murder case and causing medium severity injuries in the Kanaker-Zeitun administrative district of Yerevan.

According to the committee's report, calls regarding the incident were received on July 13, between 01:05 and 05:00, indicating that a 21-year-old resident of Gyumri suffered "a stab wound to the left side," another 21-year-old from the same city was diagnosed with "polytrauma," a 20-year-old resident of Yerevan suffered from "subcutaneous damage to the left eyelid with a complex perforating injury," and a 19-year-old Yerevan resident had "a laceration on the right side of the chest." They were all transferred to various medical centers in Yerevan.

It was established that the injuries were inflicted around 00:30 on the same day during a dispute over domestic issues on Kanaker Street in Yerevan. Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, the young men were recognized as victims, and examinations, seizures, and interrogations of several individuals were conducted.

Necessary measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the incident, determine the identity of the individual(s) who committed the alleged crime, and present them to the prosecuting authority. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
