The Situation in Ukraine Can Be Resolved Peacefully, but It Is Also Unfavorable for the U.S. - Volodin
State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin has stated that the situation in Ukraine can be resolved peacefully; however, this is not beneficial for the United States and political figures like former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
“It is clear that the current situation can be resolved peacefully. But you see, this is not advantageous for either the United States or those who sing along with them. Just look at England—Boris Johnson is not a proponent of peace. Such politicians certainly do not think about the future and, at the same time, are indifferent to the fate of the Ukrainians,” Volodin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, excerpts of which were shown in the program 'Parliamentary Hour,' as reported by RIA Novosti.
“This is a crisis, a systemic crisis affecting the elite of European countries and the United States. In my opinion, it is rooted in the situation where the United States wanted to dominate the world and simply destroyed the old European states, if you will, old Europe, bringing in young politicians. That’s how they removed the balances,” Volodin added.
