Large Car Accident in Tavush Region Involving Lexus, Mitsubishi, and Nissan; 5 Injured

Yesterday, a major car accident occurred in the Tavush region. At approximately 17:10, on the 101 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, in front of the "Getap" restaurant complex, vehicles including a Lexus, Mitsubishi Grandis, and Nissan Tiida collided.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, five individuals were transferred to the "Dilijan" medical center with varying degrees of bodily injuries, one of whom is in critical condition. The first responders included employees of the "Getap" restaurant, citizens, and the quick-responding firefighters and rescuers from the Tavush regional rescue administration's Dilijan No. 63 rescue squad and doctors from the Dilijan hospital.

Rescuers extricated two of the injured from the vehicles and brought them closer to the ambulance. Doctors at Dilijan Hospital first provided on-site first aid to the injured before transporting them to the hospital.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and the police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured.
