Shooting in Aparan: One Dead and Several Wounded

Shooting occurred in Aparan. Irakanum.am has learned that around 19:00 today, gunfire was heard in the outskirts of the city of Aparan, located in the Aragatsotn Province. According to preliminary information, the cause of the gunfire is political.

It has been reported that a dispute took place between the relatives of My Step Alliance MP Matevos Asatryan and the nephew of the Deputy Governor of Aragatsotn, Edgar Parvanyan, during which the gunfire occurred.

Our sources indicate that all participants in the argument were young men. Irakanum.am has also learned that there is one fatality and five injured. Four of the injured have recently been transported to Yerevan by ambulance. Two of them are in serious condition.
