Yesterday, gunfire and a murder occurred in the Aragatsotn province at around 20:30. The Aparan Medical Center alerted the police, reporting that 7 individuals with varying degrees of bodily injuries, including gunshot wounds, had been brought in.

According to Shamshyan.com, doctors at the hospital informed the police and investigators that one of the injured, who was unconscious, had died, while 6 others were transported to medical centers, some to Yerevan’s Armenia and others to Astghik hospitals.

Law enforcement agencies, following hot leads, discovered that the incident, which was later associated with gunfire, took place near the well-known dumps in the administrative area of the village of Nigavan. Investigators found blood-like traces, slippers, sports shoes, glasses, wood, and hunting cartridges at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated under the first part of Article 104 and the first part of Article 235 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The police and investigative department are working to identify the deceased and the injured.
