Driver Crashes BMW into Gas Pump, Breaking It

On June 27, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir province. Around 16:50, 31-year-old Gagik Muradyan, a resident of Armavir, was driving his BMW on the Yerevan-Armavir highway at the 16th kilometer mark, heading towards Yerevan. Under still unclear circumstances, he veered off the roadway and crashed into a gas pump installed at a liquid gas refueling station, breaking it.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, there were fortunately no injuries reported. A medical team arrived, but the driver refused medical assistance, stating that he was not injured.

Senior investigator Narek Petrosyan is leading the investigative work at the site, and materials are being prepared regarding the accident. The photojournalist reports that substantial material damage was caused to the gas station.
