Photos: 37-Year-Old Driver Lands Nissan Tiida in Water Channel
On June 22, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 8:00 PM, 37-year-old Misha P. lost control of his Nissan Tiida while driving on the Abovyan-Jraber highway, veering off the roadway and partially landing in a water channel.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that, fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the accident. A rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, specifically the 16th rescue squad, was dispatched to the scene.
Additionally, officers from the Road Police's 2nd battalion, 3rd company, led by Battalion Commander Arthur Petrosyan and Company Commander Tigran Kotanjyan, arrived at the site.
In connection to the accident, senior investigator Avetik Avetisyan from the same company is preparing materials. To extract the vehicle, driver Misha P. utilized specialized equipment.
