Video: Drunken Man Throws Grenade at Playing Children in Dnipro
A drunken man in Dnipro threw a grenade from his apartment window towards children playing in the yard. As a result, an 11-year-old boy was injured and has been hospitalized. This was reported by the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to law enforcement, on June 22 at around 7:30 PM, a report was received about an explosion near one of the houses in the city. It was found that a 54-year-old man, in an intoxicated state, threw an object resembling a grenade from the seventh floor of his apartment.
Witnesses of the incident have shown footage from the scene, which revealed that the windows of nearby parked vehicles were broken, and police cordoned off the yard.
The suspect has already been detained, and two investigations have been launched: Article 115, Part 15 - attempted murder, and Article 263, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosive materials.
Additionally, law enforcement discovered two more grenades and a cartridge in the man's apartment. Search operations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, has published a photograph of the suspect. It should be noted that the National Police displayed his likeness with a concealed face.
