“Every time it is required, I will do it”: Macron
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has expressed his willingness to continue negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that in addition to Ukraine, he would also like to discuss issues of food security.
“Every time it is required, I will do it. First, because they do not speak to each other. And it is important to send messages, to encourage Vladimir Putin towards possible negotiations,” Macron stated in an interview with BFM TV, published on June 17.
“Secondly, we could again negotiate with Russia on the topic of food security, with the direct participation of the UN Secretary-General. And the possibility of easing grain exports could serve as a basis for discussion,” he added. This information is reported by TASS.
