‘Participants of the 44-Day War Are Committing Suicide’: Statements from Azerbaijan
During today's session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijani MP Siyavush Novruzov called for special attention to be paid to the issues faced by participants of the Nagorno-Karabakh 44-day war. Azerbaijani news outlets report on this development.
The MP stated that the existing problems concerning war participants should be addressed. He emphasized that many veterans of the war have something to say, and they need to be acknowledged and heard.
“War participants are committing suicide. When war veterans come to the ministry, they are told that their documents have not been processed. Since they haven’t been processed, ministry employees should address this issue and show these individuals the care of the president. There are four specialized organizations in this sector, each employing thousands of workers. These issues can be resolved if five employees are allocated to each organization. However, this is not being done, giving the anti-Azerbaijani forces an opportunity to speak. Resolve this issue already,” said Novruzov.
