Armenian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Armenian Armed Forces units have not opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, reports the press service of Armenia's Ministry of Defense.

"The statement issued by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claiming that on the night of June 16-17, Armenian Armed Forces units fired from various caliber firearms towards Azerbaijani positions in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border does not reflect reality," the announcement said.

It was noted that the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remains relatively stable and is fully under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
