Azerbaijan Will Continue Its Struggle: Hajiyev Sets Conditions for Armenians

The Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev, stated in an interview with Turkish media that Azerbaijan and Turkey are creating a new geography in the Caucasus.

“Turkey and Azerbaijan are conveying their peaceful stance to Armenia. The two countries are ready to simultaneously normalize relations with Armenia and open their borders. However, Armenia must abandon its claims on Turkish and Azerbaijani territories. Azerbaijan will continue its struggle; together with our brotherly Turkey, we are establishing a new geography in the Caucasus,” emphasized the President's assistant while commenting on the situation surrounding the so-called Zangezur corridor.

It is worth noting that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, while in Qatar, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that calling the segment connecting railway and automobile routes between Armenia and Azerbaijan a “corridor” is unacceptable for the Armenian government.
