VIDEO: Endless Queue from Georgia to Russia

A video has circulated on the internet depicting a queue of vehicles from Georgia heading towards Russia. It is noted that the video was taken today, June 15th.

Recall that Gnel Sanosyan addressed the issue today, stating that recently the Minister of Economy, the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, and representatives of the State Revenue Committee had met with their Russian and Georgian counterparts to discuss measures to improve the situation. He remarked, 'It seems they have reached the following agreement. In the near future, the Russian government will make a decision to install an additional checkpoint not far from the currently operating one, which can serve 170-200 vehicles during the day. There will also be certain privileges for EAEU member countries. Moreover, the privileges are significantly larger for EAEU countries, specifically for us, but there is a specific queue issue there. The number of vehicles has now eased considerably. We have a time issue, especially with crossing from Russia to Georgia, where there is almost no issue. In the best-case scenario, vehicles stay there for about a day, but on this side, the number of vehicles is around 400-500, which is not too large. I believe the aforementioned thousands of vehicles refer to vehicles from all countries in Georgia, not just ours,' said Sanosyan.
