Transportation Service Rates Have Increased

In the sector of services provided to the population, as of May 2022, service rates have increased by 4.8% compared to May 2021, and by 0.8% compared to April 2022. This information was reported by Armenia Today citing the National Statistical Committee.

In May, compared to April, the transportation service rates in the country increased by 5.0%, driven by a 14.6% rise in the rates of international flights serviced by air transport.

In all surveyed cities of the republic, a rate increase of 0.5-1.0% was recorded in May compared to April 2022, with relatively high inflation recorded in Gavarr. In the capital, service rates increased by 0.8%.
