Argavand-Shirak Bridge Commissioned for Operation: Tigran Avinyan

The Argavand-Shirak bridge holds strategic significance, its construction has been successfully completed, and the bridge is now commissioned for operation. This was stated by former Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.

“In September 2019, we inaugurated the construction of the Argavand-Shirak highway bridge, marking the beginning of the construction of a new important traffic junction in Yerevan. It is one of the components of the 'North-South' program, the construction issues of which we have discussed many times in the meetings of the management council of the 'North-South Road Corridor Investment Program' and confirmed at that time.

Today is the time to see the results of our decisions; the construction has been successfully completed, and the bridge is now commissioned for operation. The Argavand-Shirak bridge is of strategic importance for Yerevan. As the fifth bridge built over the Hrazdan River, it will significantly contribute to easing traffic in the capital. Large projects are still ahead,” Avinyan wrote.
