Opel Zafira Turns to Ashes in Armavir Province

Today, on June 9, an emergency incident occurred in the Armavir Province. Around 11:30 AM, the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting a fire in a parked Opel Zafira vehicle near house number 26 on Nalbandyan Street in Armavir city.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a firefighting team from the Armavir rescue squad promptly arrived at the scene. Before the firefighters arrived, citizens attempted to extinguish the flames on their own, but the vehicle was completely reduced to a pile of ashes by the time the firefighters intervened. The gas meter of the mentioned house was also damaged in the fire. Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there were no injuries reported.
