On June 8, in Berlin, the number of victims from a car incident involving a group of pedestrians has reached 29. This was reported today by Focus online, citing local police.

According to the report, one person has died and 29 others have been injured as a result of the incident. The investigation into what happened is currently ongoing.

The incident took place in the Charlottenburg neighborhood, which is considered one of Berlin's landmarks. A man driving a Renault Clio drove into a crowd and then crashed into a store's display window. Bystanders immediately detained the Armenian driver and handed him over to the police.

The Berliner Zeitung reported, referring to sources, that German investigators do not consider the act to be terrorism, but they believe that the driver acted deliberately.

Furthermore, the Berliner Zeitung noted that a letter confessing to the crime was found in the suspect's car, a 29-year-old Armenian citizen of Germany. However, according to investigators, there are allegedly no political motives behind his actions. Nonetheless, authorities believe that the young man committed mass murder, although his motives remain unclear.
