They Came and Started Deceiving the Armenian People: Asprom Krpeyan

“In the last four years, we have witnessed a decline in values on which our statehood has been based and which is the foundation of our dignity. They came and started to strike these values, devaluing them, misleading the Armenian people, convincing them through informational terrorism that their heritage does not belong to them, that they must renounce their homeland and borders, and that they should live in misery, bent and kneeling,” said Asprom Krpeyan, a member of the ‘Armenia’ parliamentary faction, during the discussion titled ‘Armenia Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow’ held at France Square.

The MP described the events following 2018 as a tragedy for him, as all sectors have crumbled, to put it mildly. “Turning an Armenian into a foe of another Armenian was how it became possible to bring the Armenian statehood to its knees. They succeeded in that,” Krpeyan emphasized, noting that discussions regarding value systems are personal. He stated that all efforts must be made to ensure that the right to live with dignity is guaranteed for every citizen.
