Half a Million People Malnourished in Armenia, Says UN World Food Program

Approximately 0.5 million people in Armenia are malnourished, according to data from the UN World Food Program.

According to the figures, the number of people experiencing inadequate food consumption has risen by 0.08 million over the past three months, and by 0.07 million in the last month alone.

Furthermore, it is noted that 4.4% of children in the country suffer from acute malnutrition, while 9.4% experience chronic malnutrition.
