27-Year-Old Veteran Killed in Shooting Incident: Details of the Incident
On June 7, in the town of Tashir, Lori Province, a 27-year-old named Smbat Davoyan was fatally wounded by gunfire. Davoyan was a first-class specialist operating at the Tashir community administration and a participant in the 44-day war. Reports indicate that he was an unintended victim and not directly involved in the incident.
According to sources, the participants in the quarrel called in their relatives and friends for support. Smbat Davoyan went to the scene at the request of a friend and had no involvement in the conflict. Boris Vanyan, who was stabbed during this altercation, discharged a firearm after being attacked, resulting in Davoyan's death due to a gunshot wound at the Tashir medical center, without regaining consciousness.
According to his colleagues, the murdered young man was characterized as insightful, modest, and a skilled professional with a high sense of responsibility and a calm demeanor; he never engaged in arguments.
It is noteworthy that the incident occurred on June 7, when at approximately 00:10, the Tashir medical center notified the police that a citizen had been brought in with “gunshot wounds, hypovolemic shock, and hemorrhagic shock.”
