Large Numbers of Moles Found Dead in Dilijan National Park

The Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia reports: "Dear citizens, information is circulating on Facebook groups that large quantities of moles have been found dead throughout Dilijan National Park. The alert is currently being taken seriously by the ministry and Dilijan National Park, and appropriate measures will be undertaken.

Today, specialists from the Ministry of Environment and Dilijan National Park conducted a consultation regarding the alert. Tomorrow, park specialists will visit all the coordinates mentioned in the reports to investigate the issue on-site and collect samples.

We thank you for the alert and urge everyone to refrain from spreading information about possible causes that may not correspond to reality until the results of the professional studies are published."
