Tragic Incident in Ijevan: Student Found Dead in House Rooftop

On June 3, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 19:50, the police of Ijevan received an alert from the "Ijevan" medical center that the medical duty team had been dispatched to a house in Ijevan, where they discovered a hanging body.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Ijevan police and a team from the Tavush regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee were sent to the specified address. Police and investigators found the body of 17-year-old N.H. hanging from a beam on the rooftop of the house.

Preliminary information suggests that it was a suicide. Materials are being prepared at the Tavush regional investigative department in connection with the incident. By the decision of the investigator, a number of examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body.

According to website information, the deceased N.H. was a student in the 11th grade at one of Ijevan’s high schools.
