Rescuers Manage to Get Unconscious Driver Out, Who Upon Regaining Consciousness Starts to Fight and Causes an Accident

Today, June 3, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 05:20, police officers noticed a Mercedes vehicle on Manandyan Street and stopped it for inspection. According to Shamshyan, the driver continued to operate the vehicle and parked it near building 16 on Manandyan Street. When the officers approached the car, they waited for the driver to exit, but it was in vain.

The officers knocked on the car window several times, but the driver did not respond from inside. They called for the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ rescue service. The rescuers also knocked on the vehicle window multiple times, and seeing no response from the driver, they broke the rear window on the left side to open the car door. An emergency medical doctor on site was able to revive the driver, who, upon exiting the car, inexplicably complained to the medical personnel, rescuers, and police officers, saying, “What did you do?” before leaving the vehicle at the scene.

Once the rescuers, doctors, and police finished their work and departed, the driver approached the vehicle and drove away at high speed. Shortly thereafter, he collided with a Nissan vehicle on a street adjacent to Manandyan Street, again leaving his damaged vehicle behind. The police, noticing that he was no longer there, transported the vehicle to the secure area of the police department’s Yerevan division via tow truck.
