Urgent: Ministry of Defense Kamaz Overturns, 11 Soldiers Hospitalized

Today, on June 7, a major traffic accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor region. At approximately 10:40 AM, a Kamaz truck registered under the Ministry of Defense overturned under still unknown circumstances on a section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, at the 127 km mark.

According to reports from Shamshyan, 11 individuals, who are soldiers, were taken to hospitals with varying degrees of bodily injuries as a result of the accident. Information from G. Shamshyan indicates that their lives are not in danger.

Currently, personnel from the Military Police of the Armenian Ministry of Defense are working at the scene. Investigations are underway to establish the identity of the driver and the injured parties.
