18+ VIDEO: Suspected Killer of Armenian Businessman Shot in Central Moscow is Armenian

According to a source from law enforcement agencies, Hovhannes Kamaryan, who was shot dead in central Moscow, was a citizen of the Russian Federation, making his extradition to another country impossible, as reported on Friday by RIA Novosti.

"Kamaryan was a citizen of the Russian Federation, in which case his extradition was excluded," said the source.

The man was shot the previous night in the yard of an apartment building located on Komsomolsky Avenue. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the businessman was murdered in that location.

The source clarified to the news outlet that Kamaryan was wanted by the Armenian police.

Later, the Investigative Committee announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder. According to RIA Novosti’s source in law enforcement, he is a 24-year-old citizen of Armenia.

If the murder is deemed ordered, he could face up to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
