Vardan Voskanian Comments on Azerbaijan's Recent False Statement

The fact that the dictatorial regime in Baku is not only failing to pursue peace but is continuing its hybrid war against us can also be seen from the official statements of the Ministry of Defense of the artificial formation called Azerbaijan. These statements distort numerous place names within the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.

This was noted by Iranian studies expert Vardan Voskanian on his Telegram channel. In his latest official false statement, he highlighted that the Berd region of Armenia's Tavush province and the village of Movses, as well as the Vardenis region of Gegharkunik province and the Upper Shorja village there, are referred to by foreign names. This serves as yet another clear indicator that a war of place names is being waged against us for psychological influence.

Moreover, Armenia is in a favorable position in terms of place names in our region because our historical and geographical tradition allows us to apply Armenian-specific names to almost all of the territory of artificial Azerbaijan.
