Urgent: Azerbaijani Forces Open Fire on Armenian Positions, Casualty Reported

On May 28, around 10:40 AM, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire from various calibers of firearms, including sniper rifles, towards Armenian positions located in the southeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. As a result, conscript soldier Davit Vahani Vardanyan sustained gunshot wounds. The soldier's condition is assessed as critical.

In response operations, the fire from the Azerbaijani units was silenced. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
